Tazio Nuvolari and the Bianchi "freccia
celeste" 350: the couple that ruled the motorcycling competitions of the second half of the
20s. The motorcycle competitions of that period were terrible. Nuvolari remember in an interview
that: "at that time we fell continuosly. If we dodged an hole, another laid in ambush! It
was also very frequent that a tyre exploded or that a rim broke. The ground was terrible and in these
conditions we drove at 140, 150 km/h (87, 93 mph)!".
